The Urban Escape Barcelona is an urban hunt treasure with historical learning, designed for companies and groups who want to discover Barcelona in an active, fun and memorable way.

Halfway between a guided tour and an adventure game, this experience transforms Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter into a real playground. Participants, organized in teams, travel the city by solving puzzles, overcoming challenges and completing the events related to Barcelona’s history, architecture and iconic characters.

Thanks to an interactive application (including smartphones or tablets), teams are not mere spectators: they become actors in history, make decisions, interact with each other and (if you wish) compete for victory.
The result is an immersive cultural experience, dynamic and accessible to all profiles, ideal for team building, incentive trips and international corporate events.

The activity is available all year round, in several languages, and can adapt to both small groups and large-format events that can accommodate up to 5,000 people.

Operation of the activity

The experiment begins with an initial briefing led by a professional facilitator, who explains the rules and objectives of the game.

Participants are organized into teams and use smartphones or tablets to complete the challenges.

Throughout the course, teams have to face different types of tests:

• Cultural and historical questions about Barcelona.

• Geolocation challenges by GPS, which guide teams in the city.

• Creative photographic challenges, ideal for stimulating creativity and team spirit.

• Battles between teams such as bombs, locks or eggs, to add dynamism and emotion.

The activity is monitored at any time by a real-time follow-up from a back office platform, while the facilitator offers continuous support throughout the experience.

The event ends with a closing and presentation of the results, the projection of photos (if space permits) and the subsequent sending of all photographic material to the participants.
